September 2025 Membership Meeting Minutes

Roll Call

Secretary’s Report

• Received a thank-you card from the Holdingford Trap Team.
• 26 new members since July.

Treasurer’s Report

• All bills are currently paid

Committee Reports

Landing

• Kraemer Mowing: Looking for volunteers to help with mowing.
• Watab Waste Management: We are still awaiting a response regarding waste management services.

Firearm Safety Classes

• There are two upcoming firearm safety classes:
  • September 20th: Fully booked
  • October 11th: Fully booked

Gun Raffle

• The gun raffle planning is underway, with plans to start selling in December.
  • Will be purchasing guns from Scheels
  • Drawing will take place at the annual meeting.

Ice Fishing Contest 

• The Ice Fishing Contest is in the early stages of planning.
  • The event will be a charity fundraiser with a 50/50 split between kids and adults.
  • Prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish in each category.
  • Sponsors and volunteers are needed for this event. If you’re interested in helping, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Website

• The new website is in development, with a projected launch in mid-to-late October

2026 Elections

• Nominations for the 2026 elections will be handled at the October meeting. Positions up for election include:
  • President
  • Treasurer
  • 2 Board Members

New Pier for Kraemer

• The club is discussing purchasing a new pier for Kraemer Lake this winter.
• If you are interested in making a domain, please reach out.

Birdhouse Build

• The club will be constructing birdhouses this year (More Details to come)
• Volunteers are needed to help with both donations and supplies for the birdhouse build.
• Please contact the board if you are interested in assisting.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Ice Fishing Contest: Volunteers are needed to assist with the event. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering.
• Birdhouse Building: Volunteers are needed to assist with the event. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering.

Board of Correspondence & Communications

• A thank-you note was read from the Holdingford Trap Team for their continued support.

• The meeting was adjourned at 7:24 PM.
