DESCRIPTION:About the Event\n\nThe field day consists of seven required scenario-based training opportunities. These scenarios allow students to learn and demonstrate commonly accepted principles of safety in hunting and the handling of firearms. It includes shooting a .22 caliber rifle on a range.\nThe course fee is non-refundable.\nStudents age 11 and older must complete their online hunter safety course at: https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/safety/firearms/index.html and bring the completion certificate.\nItems to bring to the field day\n\nFire arm (NO AMMUNITION);\nsomething to eat and drink; and\nweather appropriate clothing.\n\n\n\n  \n
